
Evansville, IN - Doros Hadjisavva, owner of the Acropolis Restaurant, approached Zero Echo Media's Michael Alvey about creating a new awareness campaign for the restaurant. "Having handled most of our advertising and promotions for the past 4 years, Zero Echo Media was the logical choice", stated Hadjisavva.
Michael Alvey and Bob Renock, Zero Echo Media Creative Director, quickly brainstormed and came up with "Taste of Acropolis" as the feature promotion with daily specials to promote specific areas of the business.
Alvey, addressing the overview of the campaign, "Even thought Acropolis has been open for years, some people don't realize that there is truly food for everyone, 'Taste of the Acropolis' was focused on allowing people to sample many different foods". "Taste of the Acropolis" allows groups of two or more to select multiple appetizers, a salad, 3-6 entrees with sides, and a choice of dessert all starting from $15. The other offers ranged from a Monday Lunch special to a 1/2 Priced Bar Happy Hour to Kids Eat Free of Wednesdays.
"Once we agreed upon the offers, I was focused on how to best get the message out to the general public and the restaurant's regulars." stated Renock, "Using our E-Club mailing list, Facebook page, Twitter account, and website was a no-brainer as far as reaching current customers. We decided on a mix of TV, Radio, Billboard, and Print to reach the masses."
